After two years of study in psychology at the University of ULB, Celeste Sumanitu Tanka, born in December 1988, realized that her destiny was elsewhere. So, she took an sabbatical year and explored her choices on which life path to take.
Thus, with the support of her mother, Catherine Ailesse, Celeste braved her soul and gathered some brushes, paints and a canvas and let herself fall into the oblivion of Art. Her first painting was a beautifully constructed and well balanced piece. Falling head over heels in her natural talent, Celeste has continued to paint since.
Celeste attended nude drawing courses in Art Academies in Ixelles and Brussels and found out that she had a gift in drawing. A milieu of artists and compatriots urged her to continue and invest herself in Art as she has a promising style and flair to each one of her artworks.
Paintings and paintings pass through her young career , supporters and fans started investing in her works. Soon she was embarked into the figurative and large, freehand drawing of models on canvas and she paints them with monochrome theme colours .
Apart from painting, Celeste also is a professional photographer , capturing intimate moments brimming with emotions, yet unrevealing and enticing. Mystery and class fusioned together creating beautiful pieces and creations.
